the usual supporters will turn out and support the team, good opportunity for the club to offer a good one off loyalty point bonus as a reward for turning out.
I agree with what your saying and I know we've been there more times than any club over an eleven year span. But this is against our biggest rivals in the present day and I think we should try that bit harder to make sure we're there.Fact is that if any of the London clubs - even the biggest supported ones - had to traipse up to Old Trafford for a semi-final every time they got there, there would soon be a drop off in numbers attending if they were getting to as many semis as we have over the past decade. We saw evidence of this when the FA had to move the Community Shield to Villa Park in 2012 due to the Olympics and Chelsea couldn't sell out the 15,000 or so tickets they were allocated whereas we sold out easily.
It's only the fact that Liverpool and United have so many fans in reserve to take up the slack that they're perhaps the only non-London clubs who would sell out a semi-final if they got there on a regular basis. Having said that, even United didn't sell their full allocation for their semi against Everton in 2016. As for Liverpool, well I still recall United fans royally taking the piss out of their shite turnout at the 1990 Charity Shield when they played each other.
remember Reading in the quarters at home in 2011the usual supporters will turn out and support the team, good opportunity for the club to offer a good one off loyalty point bonus as a reward for turning out.
We go to every away game on a Coach and have never been pulled over for a search, maybe if you have dickheads on and they cause problems at a service station the police will have the reg number and pull you overI have seen away games were every coach on a certain route is pulled over, anything with 9 seats or more.
It is everyone they see for an escort closer to the game. The kind of games I have seen them are not normally ones needing a stop.We go to every away game on a Coach and have never been pulled over for a search, maybe if you have dickheads on and they cause problems at a service station the police will have the reg number and pull you over
Great idea and I hope it happens. Unfortunately, City’s leading administrators are loathed to admit any mistakes and reintroduce loyalty points for games away from the Etihad.the usual supporters will turn out and support the team, good opportunity for the club to offer a good one off loyalty point bonus as a reward for turning out.
they better do it quick then ,it opens at 9am tomozGreat idea and I hope it happens. Unfortunately, City’s leading administrators are loathed to admit any mistakes and reintroduce loyalty points for games away from the Etihad.
Maybe a few years ago, Stoke springs to mind but not seen it happen for yearsIt is everyone they see for an escort closer to the game. The kind of games I have seen them are not normally ones needing a stop.
I’m one of the usual supporters, over fifty years since my first game , lost count of how many years I’ve had a season ticket or the number of games and away grounds I’ve done , but basically I can’t justify the cost , I’m sick of being taken for granted by the powers that be . £50 for the champions league game , monthly direct debit for my season ticket , fuel prices sky high, utilities direct debit doubled , supermarket shop through the roof . Then they decide to play it at Easter weekend, don’t they realise people have other commitments??the usual supporters will turn out and support the team, good opportunity for the club to offer a good one off loyalty point bonus as a reward for turning out.
