Just seen on Sky and on media now that there are no direct trains from Liverpool or Manchester to London for this game so they are warning travel times will be longer

Lengthy article in today's MEN on the subject which ends with the suggestion that the tie should be rescheduled to Old Trafford. In view of our recent history there, I am inclined to agree. Petition anyone?

It’s a great idea. Even though it’s a smaller (shitter) stadium the real fans would probably get an even bigger allocation than for a Wembley semi too.

An overwhelming majority of fans would undoubtedly back this. I suspect most would want to put an end to Wembley semi finals permanently.
But the big sticking point that’s stopping it happening this season is the fact that lots of expensive Club Wembley multi-year memberships have been sold to corporate clients with the semi finals being part of the packages. Moving the game at a few weeks notice potentially opens a few cans of worms.

And the FA have budgeted for the revenue.

Forget it. It isn't going to happen.

Steffan is nowhere near good enough with his feet to draw and combat the Liverpool press.

Same reason Southampton had so much success closing our centre backs down and have Rodri the wrong side of the ball.

He's a decent shot stopper but we need to reconcile how much confidence Ederson inspires us to play out.
Agreed.

And that goal yesterday wouldn't have happened with Eddie in goal, as he'd have dived at the feet of the striker and won the ball. Steffan was too hesitant.

Okay not on a scheduled service but you'd think they could get together and put on a couple of specials just for this from each city if they insist on playing down there.
How hard would that be to sort out!
