Dele-Bashiru and Sancho made a difference for sure when coming on, anyone else in the 16's as good as these two?
 
Loads of positives, the subs look great. Far too many weak links in the team though. Feel like they are lacking an out and out centre midfielder.

Don't get me wrong though they have great talents there but they are edging it more on their conditioning and physical traits from when they've faced each other, technically and skills wise we match or surpass them in most areas of the pitch(right from the goalkeepers for me).
 
Thought we started very well and dominated. They looked deflated when that first goal went in and never came back. Well, more years ahead of them that's a positive
 
Unlucky lads. The future's still incredibly bright and Sancho looked a real handful, absolutely gliding past players. Nice to see Brahim get a goal. Shame about the result but we're only going to improve.
 
For me, Grimshaw, Nemane, Kongolo and Oliver do not have a chance of making it at MCFC.

A few others have a slightly better chance but these guys in particular haven't really improved that much in the last year.

I may be being harsh but Nemane is only a threat due to his pace and Kongolo is too awkward on the ball.

I'm a big fan of our youth teams but sometimes there are players that just aren't going to be good enough for us. I hope they have careers and I'm sure they could make it somewhere in the lower leagues.
 
They were far bigger and stronger than us an at the same age it's a big advantage, well done to the young blues though
