As much as it pains me to say it, fully deserved win for Chelsea, but who knows what might have happened, had the Chelsea player been sent off, as he should have been, for that horrendous "tackle" on Jacob at 0-0.
Plenty to be optimistic about, especially the fact that several of the boys will still be eligible next season.

For me, Grimshaw, Nemane, Kongolo and Oliver do not have a chance of making it at MCFC.
A few others have a slightly better chance but these guys in particular haven't really improved that much in the last year.
I may be being harsh but Nemane is only a threat due to his pace and Kongolo is too awkward on the ball.
I'm a big fan of our youth teams but sometimes there are players that just aren't going to be good enough for us. I hope they have careers and I'm sure they could make it somewhere in the lower leagues.

I do think Grimshaw needs more time before we can have an accurate reading of him.
I only see three players that have a real shot of making it here: Brahim, Sancho and Davenport. They looked very good over the two legs and while the former 2 are superb technically, Davenport is a real grafter with excellent passing and someone we should look to incorporate with the first team squad in the future.

Not a bad result I think for our lads when I hear Jason Wilckocks has coached those lads from the age of 8 so based on that statement we are well on corse perhaps ?!
