I'd be happy for him to join us, but I honestly believe this is a case of a journalist or two sitting bored in his office going:
"So, a bit dry on the transfer rumors front today isn't it? We need to spice them up a bit... This Delph guy, lets throw City into the mix, should be a great story and with their ambition and finances everyone will believe it..."

Seems like happening a lot lately, we just get thrown into the mix so to say. Seem to spice up any transfer story, it's a bit annoying but understandable I guess.

Do you not think Johnson is good cover ? this lad is a very good player but no convinced we need him at this moment. We have, Kompany, Zabaleta, Barry, De Jong & Johnson. attacking players SWP, Ireland and Robinho.

Imagine if Barry gets a 3 month injury. Or Ireland. It is pure disaster the way I see it. Don't you agree?

I agree that would not be good. But he is not the answer. Great prospect but not premiership quality yet.

i watched him a few week ago playing against my local team glentoran and he was woeful. he just kept giving the ball away clueless if you ask me.

I'm not sure you can judge a player on pre-season friendly. SWP was awful last weekend...

haha they all praise how good he is on page three and as soon as they noticed us making a bid they all think he is shitter then what they have in their youth team already.
