Would be silly not to snap him up at 10mil.
Thats your opinion.Thankfully I see a far better player than you`re making out.No it isn't. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Rags, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, you're picking him for those games? He'd be nowhere near my team, not creative enough to warrant a place to break down little sides, and not good enough to cope in big games, like Rodwell he'd be a waste of fucking space.
We're meant to be trying to be champions again and win the CL, there is no merit to buying him, none. He's had 8 years to step up and he's consistently failed to make anything other than fleeting impressions, and the rest of the time he's been naff.

If we are talking about shit players don`t look too far away from home, with Fernando,Dzeko and Mangala all coming into contention.
Ah you are one of those who still harps on about the past.Dzeko is as shit as can be nowadays."Thankfully"...I would say "there are none so blind as those who cannot see".
I've watched him enough over the years to be unimpressed, and when faced with him up against Busquets/Rakitic/Iniesta, Kroos/Modric/+1, Alonso/Schweinsteiger/Thiago, Matic/Fabregas/Oscar, and that's without those sides improving, I think he'll be completely out of his depth, worse than Fernando. Dzeko has won us a league with his goals, he's proven himself and his quality, Delph has proved the absolute square root of fuck all in his career despite ample hype and opportunity.
He doesn't cut the mustard.
And Dzeko,Nasri,Fernando,Kompany and Mangala are also in the firing line for inconsistency so that speaks volumes.I don't see it in him. Plays well from time to but nowhere near consistent enough for our team.

No its not.Don`t be so short sighted in thinking those players are consistent performers.Yes Vinnie had a very poor season, but both Nasri and Dzeko certainly do NOT perform to a standard that is good enough for City.To compare Kompany, Nasri and Dzecko's level of performance to Delph's is ridiculous
Mangala and Fernadno are new to the league so in willing(ish) to give them the benefit of the doubt whereas Delph has been playing in the league for years and only occasionally stands out.
He's just not good enough

Nasri has often performed to a standard good enough for City, if he can sort his fitness and gets his mindset right he's got a few more seasons left at the highest level. I wouldn't be looking to get rid of him. His problem has been the fact he's bottled it in some big fixtures, which goes back to his mindset. We as fans tend to remember the important games and don't forgive too easily when watching a player fall apart. He's been head and shoulders Villa's best player for yonks know, and he's been one of England's best performers in the last few games he's played in. I wonder whether some of you actually watch these players play before you pass judgement on them.To compare Kompany, Nasri and Dzecko's level of performance to Delph's is ridiculous

If it's a minimum fee release clause then there's be no use bidding any higher than the clause price.Even if there is such a release clause, does it automatically mean the club that triggers it gets him for £10m? Or does it spark off an auction among all interested clubs? I'm guessing the latter.
