I agree with you.

He is no lesser player than Milner imo. Good alround player who would help the team press the ball & get it back for the footballers to play. Quick into the tackle & perfectly decent on the ball, plus high energy & the ability to nick an occasional goal.

We need homegrown players but Delph would be a pointless signing. He'd barely get a game and he's one of those players that flatters to deceive. He runs about, is good on the ball but it average in defence and attack so ends up running in circles, confusing himself and giving the ball away. He's in the England side at the moment, he won't be if he joins us. It's a stupid move for him to make.

I'll back any player too play in the city shirt, but quite honestly...i'd be underwhelmed if he does end up signing. But i suppose we're after homegrown players to fit the bill so in that way, it'd be a good addition. Just think we could do better.

Over the last few games he's been England's best player,he certainly tries,but as a lot have said it's hardly a smart move,but into 1/4 on skybet theres some truth in it somewhere,plus that magical symbol of what we need applies again........ HG !!!!!

problem is he won't get much playing time and when he does the pressure to perform will be high if he doesn't perform he will be related to a bit time player..

Still annoying to buy a player available for very little a few months ago but will probably cost over £20m now
