The big thing I'm really struggling to understand is why would Madrid prefer to take hernandez on loan over falco something just doesn't add up?
Maybe it's a popularity thing, Mexican support will grow in the club whereas they already have James Rodriguez.

Its baffled me pal well nasty has said he's staying so we could drop mdm from champs lge squad and still sign a replacement for negredo! Clutching at straws me think were done for the day!

I cannot believe how scared and intimidated some of you clowns still are of man United. Even now.

Proper inferiority complex.

Agree

They are basically rolling the dice and spunking all the front loaded dosh from Adidas on players and wages
They are two bad injuries away from total meltdown

We on the other hand are going about our business calmly, professionally and with a vision

Which of these business models is more likely to succeed? Think about it

Btw, there´s also the violent tornado we will unleash if/when FFP gets the heave-ho from the ECJ

CL or no CL, looks like the Rags are still a bigger draw than us. This is exactly how it will play out in the media.
They indisputably are. For now.
steady on mate, they really are not. mendez is notorious for being a hard bargainer and i think we would have said no at the wages being touted and the £51m fee. do you think Txixi would be dictated to by an agent? We tried to get it done on our terms, it didn't work out, United then jumped in because they need class players.
Apologies. I didn't make myself clear.

As things stand with FFP restrictions in place they can exceed anything we can offer, if they so wish. That, allied to their prominence as a club makes them a bigger pull, certainly with marquee signings.

Once the FFP handcuffs are off and we continue to grow as a club the dynamics will change.

They have the spending power now and for the foreseeable future. They were never going to be away for long once the joke that FFP is was brought in. Very frustrating.

From the outside looking in... We have been had by utd. They need a panic buy and a statement that they aren't getting left behind. We on the other hand, haven't made a 'big name' signing since aguero and let them pip us to the post? If negredo wants out, which he does, why aren't we signing a striker to replace him? Allowing Falcao to sign for utd and strengthen them is crazy when we are in need for him just as much as them if negredo goes. Knew we wouldn't win the battle. Anyone remember hazard not choosing us when we was in for him? Isco? And now Falcao... Something isn't right there, we are prem champions, in the champions league.. And yet can't compete in the transfer market with utd or Chelsea for that matter?

We'll pay for this!! Stinks of the year RVP chose them over us and won them the league..

Back to the Cafe for you my boy...

Well, nobody can complain about the effect Hazard has had at Chelsea, despite inflated agent fees.

For a club obsessed with building a global brand, we sure do avoid the marquee signings though. Aguero in 2011 the last? Maybe next summer, but most of our signings are not shirt-selling types. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing for the team, but I'm always reading articles about how Soriano wants us to be a global powerhouse.

Personally it's not fear of the Scum, it's irritation at knowing we have to sell Negredo but probably won't replace him.

Well let's see if that happens. Even if it does it wouldn't unduly bother me because we can always play silva or yaya behind the striker. The singing if Fernando helps in that regard.

It just seems like for some they've got the football equivalent of Little Man Syndrome: constantly seeking reassurance by winning every battle.

There's clearly much more to this than 'player chooses city over united' or vice versa.
