Falkirk v Celtic

I was at Tynecastle yesterday for the Heart of Midlothian service ( usually at Haymarket where there is a commemerative clock but moved this year due to ongoing tramworks ) attended by many fans of other clubs ie Hibs and Falkirk

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.heartsfc.premiumtv.co.uk/articles/in-pictures-remembrance-20091109_2255995_1870522" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.heartsfc.premiumtv.co.uk/art ... 95_1870522</a>

also all Hibs and Hearts fans at our derby match on Saturday observed the minutes silence .. well done

Bar a couple of clowns at the start. Some clowns in Section g could have behaved better towards the Hibs supporting soldiers as well.

Why were our soldiers there in the first place Jim .
Because the Government couldnt run a piss up in a brewery

They were there in the first place to PROTECT Catholics. I'll repeat again, Celtics fans and players have won VCs fighting for Britain, why don't Celtic fans respect these people.

So how do we ever move on from that load of bollocks outside the stadium yesterday,Jim?

Do you think that you and they will ever find it within yourselves to join the rest of us and "forgive" the sins of the British army and those who we've fought in the past-for ONE day?
Will Rangers fans still be marching down the roads in 100 years time, dressed in orange, deliberately alienating and inflaming Catholic communities?
The fact is that if the Sectarian devide is based on unquestioning indoctrination and handed-down hatred. You can't help it,and I feel sad for you and the others who know no better.

Just for one minute yesterday, those dickheads just couldn't put it down and remember the sacrifice of ALL the soldiers that died,Catholic and Protestant. It's about respect, reflection and reconciliation, not scoring twisted political points in an attempt to keep the "struggle" alive.

On a positive note-incidents like yesterday will ultimately be the rope the old firm repeatedly hang themselves with in the minds of decent people.
It reminds us of what we could be letting ourselves in for on a weekly basis if we ever allow them to join the English league.

No thanks.
They probably will be in a 100 years time. As for Celtic, we support Celtic for the love of the club and what it means to us, not because of secterianism.

For the record, they were accused of singing IRA songs yesterday, they werent. They sang about <a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aidan_Mcanespie" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aidan_Mcanespie</a> this man.

Clubs should come down hard on this sort of thing. Fuck the old firm they make me feel sick. Jim you go on about all these harsh things the brits have done but then have the cheek to move to salford. Whats that all about?
What the fuck has me living in England got to do with anything? We are after all the same country are we not?!

Wise up ye numpty. If you think I've anything against English people then you're the worse one, most of my friends are English, I support an English club, a lot of my family are English and I love Manchester in particular. You cant ask for anymore.

Thats true, they were there to protect catholics, until they started raiding every house on the falls and arresting most men over 16 because they might be able to carry a gun. good protection that isnt it?
