Fallout 4

Picked it up on release day and played a few hours. The intro and first couple of hours were good but now I don't know it just feels a bit boring?

I find that with a lot of games these days, novelty tends to wear off after a few hours, then you get to a point where you just want to complete it and get it out the way!

I've not touched MGS5 since the week after it was released, the only game I've been really enjoyed playing from start to finish this year is Tales of Zestiria but that's because I'm a big fan of JRPG games.

The witcher 3 has been my favourite game this year, absolutely phenomenal

I’m enjoying this game so much at the moment. I am playing it in stints and savouring the enjoyment with so much to explore on the map.

Indeed, my goto game at the moment is BF4 because I get a lot of fun out of it, the multiplayer never seems to get boring. I have the new Halo too and it has barely been touched, might be different if they had left the split screen alone.

The Witcher blew everyone away. Fallout 4 hasn't stepped up to take it to the next level..

So reviews mixed then. After Batman didn't bother getting on release day anymore, still have The Witcher to play as well.

I'm hearing that Fallout's graphics aren't what was expected, but Tomb Raider's looks FUCKING AMAZING

Found myself spending the most time modding and crafting. It's superbly done. Can't help but think how good it would be if they expanded on it further maybe even as a separate game where it's all purely about surviving, scavenging and defending a base.As it is, the whole process of building a settlement it completely optional and has no real point to it. I know the settlements can and do get attacked but there's no real danger from it happening, there's no lasting damage and you don't have to be there to defend it either. I'd love it if the threat was constant and they could destroy things and steal supplies if not defended properly and there was more of a need to build a fortified base, with perimeter fences etc That's all i want now after playing this for two days.
