Can understand people saying they need to get to their car, bus, tram but you pay for your ticket to watch a full game not a proportion of it.

Personally I don't think people leave early enough. The thought of little Johnny not being in bed at the right time, the queuing to get out out of the carpark etc etc doesn't bear thinking about.

Leave at half time and life will be much less stressful for you poor things.

I think the point being made in this thread is not on the scale you see at The Etihad.
The fans that you see at other grounds leaving early is usually due to the home team getting well beaten.

Does it also state the times the next bus will be leaving or the handy hint with how to get back into the ground when a last minute goal is scored which secures a piece of history ;)

Under Alan Ball I used to leave five minutes before kick off.
Sometimes I stayed in the Osborne if it was raining and got pissed, and just asked some brave **** who ventured out how many we lost by.
