Fans leaving early.

If you carelessly waste something scarce you've handed the have-nots every right to criticise you imo.

Waste not; want not. Natural, logical and just. Money, food, or the opportunity to get behind our team, surely the same principle applies?

Supporters who get off their arses, pay thousands to go and watch Vs TV armchair mob or kids whinging about empty seats and leaving early?

People are free to do as they please.

Those who stay get to see some last minute wins. Those who don't get home a bit earlier.

It's called freedom of CHOICE. Those who watch on telly and don't like it should make some effort and dig into their pockets.

Kids whinging who go should grow up.

Even though I stay until the end, the exits up on level three are narrow and scary as supporters are squeezing their way out. It's a long way down if you don't like heights, and I can't blame women, kids and OAPs for getting out before the crush starts. I can't speak for level one though, this having a shallower slope to contend with.

Do what I do...........wait an extra two minutes (watch the highlights) and its all clear.............nice easy walk out.

Then I walk all the way along the seats from 212 right to the other end of the stadium to avoid the crowds outside as well.

I'm home in 15 minutes after the end of the game and I stay until after everyone's gone .

And that is the crux of the problem mate. You are quite fortunate but others do have to travel for a fair few hours to reach their destination.
By the way, thats not aimed as a dig at you, just a reality check as to why most people leave early, nothing more than travel arrangements.

I refer you to my post slightly earlier :)

my suggestion was for the crushed poster. If he waits a few minutes longer.

I left 5 minutes before the end on Tuesday. Meant me jogging all the way to Piccadilly to get a train at 2152. The train I had planned to get at 2215 was cancelled. My next option? 0550 on Weds morning. As it was I got home at 2310. I never usually leave before the end but I had to be up at 0500 on Weds to be in Birmingham by 0800. Sorry if I offended anyone.
