Fans Not Staying To Applaud The Team

At the end of the game today, Erling Haaland lead a team-wide (bar Kyle Walker who saw his arse about something, kicked the ball at the fans in the East Stand and was throwing his arms in then air as he left pitch… fuck knows what went on there?!) sort of lap of honour to every stand in the stadium and there were barely any fucking fans left to acknowledge it.

That’s the most comprehensive applause I’ve ever seen from any player at our ground.

He, and the rest of the team, deserve better than everyone fucking off before that sort of thing!
Entitled and it's horrible we are starting to become what we detested from the dippers and raggys.

We have the finest young striker in world football who could possibly become one of the world greatest ever and he is playing in our shirt , yet people still seem to think it's normal FFS appreciate what your witnessing because like I have said in the past, this won't last forever, enjoy and appreciate.

I always stay and clap the team till last player is off the pitch as does a few around me, if others don't then that is up to them.

People never stayed aroumd maine rd, (unless we was protesting swales) so cannot see habits changing amongst older blues and younger ones will be like that too, will be those that do, some will, some won't

Why worry what anyone else does, not going to change it, been to loads of games where the players haven’t acknowledged the fans, often midweek when I get home at daft o’clock, and up at 5am, while the players net that week what I will earn in 5 years.

Went Gladbach a few years ago and it appears to be the norm in Germany; fans stay and applaud a lap by the team, even if the loose.

Stayed to the end as always, takes even with the early leavers a bit of time to get out of SS3 from halfway up. Saw the team set off around the FS and assumed they'd be down the tunnel.

Did they actually come down to my end at the south?

When they set off there was nobody left in the FS anyway, may as well have come our way.

I find it very disrespectful to the team that people leave 10 minutes before the game
You wouldn't leave the theatre or cinema before the end surely?
I really don't understand it
