Loved my Spitfire , I had a white markIV in the summer of 76, never had to put the roof up.i had lots of much more expensive makes since but that car will always be my favourit.

I had one too. L reg. Detachable hardtop which I was able to leave at home for about 3 months over a long summer. 1300 engine which was puny but who gave a f**k in those days?

My mate can also confirm you can shag in one if you‘re feeling horny and determined.

On the waiting list for a Toyota GR86 but no idea if i'll actually get the email invite to buy...

They sold the supposed UK allocation (450 cars) in 90 minutes last year but they are currently inviting people on the waiting list to order additional cars /cancelled orders. No idea how many cars there are and no idea where I am on the waiting list...

Regardless SWMBO needs to be convinced if I do get the chance to order one as she thinks I'm too old for one at 59 :-(

I had one of these new in 1991.. A Pewter Grey Honda CRX.. Brilliant car that I bought duty free when I was based in Cyprus. I only sold it because we had a toddler and the back seat was't ideal

I had a Vitesse as my first car, presume same 2.0 6 straight with twin carbs? Was quite a lively engine.

Mine was M reg and also had a hard top which I took off and bought a soft top from a breakers yard, had a lot of fun in it but didn’t fancy going as far as having a shag
as I had a free house most of the time.
