i was at that game too,with my dad ,grandad and mate,must of been early to mid 70's? i remember being in the stretford end with it full of city fans,i dont remember the score except that we won and it was a replay like you say.Some weird replay of a replay vs Luton. Squidged into the stretford end. 2-0 down, came back to win 3-2.

That tackle or should i say assault by Nicky Reid for their penalty,he never did things by halves our Nicky !Nice little watch that. But even over 30 years ago, you can hear the bias in the commentators voice (Motson) is that a penalty.. YYYYESSSSSSS!!! Some things never change.

I remember that sat in their main stand . Lots of bad memories generally.
Was in cantilever for glyn pardoe and Law games.
In main stand for Robbie Brightwell goal and Roger Palmers goal. But not been to that place for a long time. Saw dundee united in a european game 2 all i think.
Fav personal is Roger. Hope he is well. Used to see him riding his bike in Sale

I've seen us play 40 competitive games there against the rags and the ones that stand out are:
1972-73 - 0-0 The first time I saw City there.
1973-73 - 1-0 "Dennis has done it". Very scary.
1989-90 - 1-1 Brightwell's screamer.
1991-92 - 1-1 Put a dent in their title hopes.
2000-01 - 1-1 Howie's equaliser. We were heading down but they couldn't beat us.
2002-03 - 1-1 The Goat equalising about ten seconds after coming on as a sub and almost nicking a winner. - I know you could see the handball from outside the ground but I'd have given it.
2007-08 - 2-1 We are impeccable. Every media outlet had their stories of us ruining the occasion shoved back down their throats.
2011-12 - 6-1 Nothing more to add.
2013-14 - 3-0 Total domination
2016-17 - 2-1 Twats at Sky organised a ban for Sergio and his replacement (Nacho) scored our second.
2017-18 - 2-1 Piss taking in the corner winning a succession of throw-ins late in the game.
2018-19 - 2-0 It might not matter in the long run but it pissed on a lot of red matches.

Only been once I was one of the mascots in 2006. Rooney had opened the scoring before we’d even made it up to the away end...

Arthur Albaston testimonial.
Beat them 2-0 and blues treated it like winning the league. Proper piss taking from our fans.
I was there for that too - a tremendous day. The Frank Stapleton testimonial around about the same time was also great fun - I think we won that 2-1 but my memory ain't what it used to be!

Wasn't at that one. Those testimonials were so enjoyable because the result didn't matter (unless we won!).
Last time I went was the 5-0. Fucking horrible night that's put me off for life.
