There was a bit of anti FC United graffiti on the cabin at the site of FC United's planned stadium, but last week it was removed by some community spirited FCUMers.
Some members of the Moston Liberation Front the next day gave the cabin a fresh lick of paint which was removed and then followed by the MLF's 2nd (and more to the point) attempt.

Yeah - it's probably prepping the land for all the rag shit that's gonna be on it if the ground get's built!

Do you mean that lovely bit of green belt that the council not only illegally fenced off, but then neglected to look after and maintain it? (Despite charging Moston Juniors FC £1,000 a year).

Re: FC United fans online survey (p19)

Hence them pleased to get rid of it, and no i dont come from Moston, shame they cant build it closer to my home. M19 oh now that would get a few on here going.

Cringle park would of been a nice spot ;-) but part of it comes under stockport, so that would of been a no goer.

Well the feeling around a fair few Moston residents is the field was purposely neglected to make the attraction of FCUM coming along and building a 5000 capacity stadium, concreting a large car park on the site and laying an artificial pitch that they will maintain would be welcomed by locals......

Had the council simply spent the £1,000 per year they were charging Moston Juniors to rent the land on maintaining it, it wouldn't have looked an eyesore. From what I gather, MJFC have with held payment due to the non maintenance of the site.
So the claim that FCUM will be saving the council money by maintaining the site is incorrect as they aren't spending money on it (or receiving the money they would have been paid to maintain it!)

Nobody in Moston wants it. It's that simple.
