FC United Thread

We must always plan for worst-case scenarios. If we do not secure sufficient home fixtures, we may need to consider additional fundraising efforts to ensure the club’s ongoing stability.

Thank you for your continued support

Perhaps their fans should question the lunacy of the boards decision to increase the playing budget by £15,000 after the squad had been assembled & their board knew how badly season ticket sales were going to sign their star striker, city’s video analyst.

They gambled on le fondre and it hasn’t paid off yet the condescending pricks still talk of how responsibly they’re managing their finances & how other teams are irresponsible.

He also somehow became the Non League Man for the Football Supporters Federation and in this piece he questions why York City are making such large losses!
You can’t make this shit up!

By a couple degrees of separation I know a fair bit about the York owner and her hubby they’ve got a fucking stack of money to burn through before Andy Walsh should be worrying his tiny mind about.

It also shows that their model (business/club) ain't working.

It's simple maths. Players/staff wages v income. If the first is bigger than the second then they are in shit street.
Begging bowls and council grants are NOT punk football.

Please somebody shut them down once and for all, No None League club should be allowed to be run so badly, Also running up such a high debt that is never going to be repaid, MCC are to blame for all of this mess as well.

The running costs are a major problem and when the match day turnover is not covering the bills it is time to call it quits, Your so-called fans have gone back to Big Brother and turned their backs on you and had enough, The Locals don't care and didn't want in the first place, What happened to all the promises that the community and the people of Moston will benefit and shop owners and food outlets pubs would all benefit from this

Empty Promises, Lies, Local People's troubles, Their own fans turning on them, enough is really enough

I have no problem with any club, league or non league, having debt.
What pisses me off about this club is they got (and still get) an unfair advantage over other non league clubs. First, no other club would have been able to obtain the money they did. More importantly, no other club would be allowed to have the debt without making regular repayments so that the debt is cleared.
If/when it goes belly up, the residents of Manchester will be the losers because that money could have been used to fund other, financially responsible projects.
This lot are like the other lot, normal rules do not apply to them.

For a so-called fans-run club they don't half-like other people money to run it

Look at the beginning when they played at Gig Lane and got between 5 to 7 thousand you thought ok they can hold their own in the non-league, But it dropped off quickly and went 3 to 4 thousand and then plans for their own stadium you thought again ok they could cope,

But now it's down to 1000 and falling fast, But the free tickets boost the gate figures so it could be well under 1000 paying customers, It's clearly falling fast and will go pop IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE, the debtors will be calling in their debt and everything will be up for sale.

Yep

many lower non-league clubs would love the amount of money that was pumped into the club and they still getting away with it, The times up for me and if their own fans don't turn up anymore what is the point
