Best of all was Sky doing a comparison with Mancini...

Head to head premier League.. blah blah....

They didn't mention trophies though for some reason

No mention of his Head to heads against Chelsea,Arsenal,Spurs or Mickeys though.

The best part yesterday of the shrieking Scot Jim Whyte's "Live" reporting from The Swamp were the interviews with the United fans outside the Megastore.

5 fans were chosen (unusually all had Manc accents) each and every one sang the praises of the Trophy -less former Everton Manager.

I cant believe that you can get 5 Utd fans at random without any of them calling for Mourinho. Where's the "Agenda" thread gone.

he was embarrassing. he and sky are shitting it. if moyes(now the best manager in the history of our beautiful game )doesnt hit the ground running utd will be off the pace. cue millions of thai, jap and the rest of asia turning sky sports off.

sky are going to lose billiions of pounds over this.

get ready for the kicking city agenda to go right through the roof.

We are City Bill... Bring em on I say !!

Not an agenda post, I myself have even grown tired of that now. A serious question though on this pal. Would it not make more sense for Sky to 'jump ship', so to speak, and focus the attention you think they focus on United onto us? If United are going down hill at an alarming rate, Moyes not cutting it and them becoming a club resembling anything but the club they've resembled since Sky came in, would it not make sense in them latching onto us and what we are doing? I can clearly see the point people make about a business side of an agenda, (though some, infact no - most of the posts on here about it are absurd), and with Chelsea not being taken over by an actual country like we have, maybe they've not been worth latching onto. With the fan base worldwide what we now have, and continue to attract, would it not make sense for them to fuck United off and have us as their so called 'cash cow'?

He's got the keys to the swamp drinks cabinet already.

Seems Gollum and Taggart have more in common than just Scottish miserableness.

Moyes interview on sky - Said he was preparing to start a new season with Everton, and the rag offer came completely out of the blue.

David Meek said that even last week when they were writing the programme notes, that Baconface was talking about the next season and coming years like he was still going to be there. No mention of retiring.

So it begs the question...WAS HE PUSHED?

Did he tell the board about his hip operation and having a few months off, and they mentioning the subject of retiring, followed by him spitting his dummy out and throwing in the towel?

All seems abit spur of the moment.

The world is about to change. No way will the Slurgie loving journo's be fawning over Gollum if he loses 3 games on the bounce. They will absolutely destroy him, and bring him down. Talk of "Crisis at Old Trafford" will be a monthly headline.

Don't believe me? Look at the England managers job. I cannot remember a single England manager ever that did not get slaughtered by the press. Even Venebles and Keegan, who were essentially appointed by the media, got absolutely killed by the press, although Venebles was for personal misdemeaners as opposed to the football.

As much as the Shite are loved by the media, they are not loved as much as the England team are. There must be 5 times as many England fans read their papers as rags, during World Cups and Euro's it's pretty much wall to wall coverage. It's not a story to say "the manager is doing ok / quite well while he settles in." That doesn't sell papers. Doing average is reported as a "crisis" a "disaster" a "disgrace" and "not good enough." This is the kind of shit Gollum has got to look forward to.

There's no way they would have tried that shite with Slurgie because he was too powerful at the club, his job has not been in anything like jeopardy for 20 years. He could ban any journo who didn't tow the party line, and it wouldn't get reported because he was more powerful and secure in his job than the newspaper editor. Gollum won't be. There is no way the press will give him a break if he does shite, they will ridicule and destroy him. It's not the club that the journo's are in awe of / scared of, it was Fergurson. Gollum has got 20 years to go to gain the same kind of respect / fear from the press.
