Something isn't right about him going so suddenly and before the end of the season, they could of done this after the last game and jointly announced the new manager. Something is being covered up, something big.

I don't get the timings. Something isn't quite right.

I suspect some form of corruption that was about to come out.

I don't think it can be anything negative like corruption or another scandal as they surely wouldn't have made him a Director and club ambassador if something was going to break in the press

Funny, I've been thinking this for a while now, no evidence and I had just put it down to wishfull thinking, a side effect to them winning the league I suppose. But imagine the fallout, England's finest manager, all those sycophantic tributes in the press and then BANG accusations of corruption and match fixing, now that would be jelly and ice cream time.

I don't know if it would be something huge, but something big enough to effect their share price maybe, maybe just taking back handers on transfers about to come back and bite him on the ass. Maybe he was mates with a certain deceased "Sir"... Who knows, but something isn't right about it.

I'd love something to come out but maybe it was announced because they play their last home game of the season on Sunday so it will be a huge day for all the rags and media to worship Ferguson one last time. It will also make sure that our FA Cup win is once again overshadowed.

The timing is so they can do a fond farewell to him at their last home game of the season, where he will lift the trophy for the last time

Plus it allows all the plastics to say their goodbyes at their massive parade on Monday night

Stay on after the final and return home on Tuesday

He has been made a director and ambassador hasnt it? So i dont think its anything like that.

The reason its been done now is simple... look in the papers and try and find a mention out our FA Cup final. They are a big club with a small mentality, its clear to me the timings are to take the shine off Saturday
