He was good today, but these needless yellows every game are driving me crazy. It's somewhat ok in midfield, but at centerback much more problematic.

I've said exactly the same when I saw it.
I agree, but hopefully it's something the club are prepared for. Kompany and Otamendi got/get booked all the time (especially early) and didn't/don't get sent off.He was good today, but these needless yellows every game are driving me crazy. I suppose the fear is him picking up a 2 game suspension for accumulated bookings before Laporte's back.

Really surprised to see that actually, three more in CL though to be fair. Still less than it seems for whatever reason.It's only his 3rd yellow in 14 league games.

I’ve probably said this previously. But he (and Walker) have been our most consistent players this season.
