Fucking joke of a fee. Completely embarrassing

Come back garry cook, all is forgiven
If we really have paid £34m, it's embarrassing and pathetic

I don't doubt Ducker is telling the truth - he has, I'm sure, been told that was the fee - but I still find it hard to believe. Perhaps that's just wishful thinking on my part

Agree think we are getting ripped.Never seen him play but 5 Brazil caps at 28 doesn't strike me as a £34m player.Thought these 2 Spanish guys were clued up

If Fernandinho's buyout clause was £42m, I'd say we've done well to get it down by £8m.

I fucking wouldn't. Let's not kid ourselves here - that's a joke of a fee and this guy is a gamble. He'll be completely worthless within 5 years so to come anywhere near justifying this fee he's going to have to hit the ground running and make a colossal impact

Re: Fernandinho has medical

One Journalist and one biased sports news programme say 34, all the news papers (Sun, Guardian, Mirror, Mail), goal.com, other journalists say 22-25 but you believe 34. Why?

Why does that bother you it's not your money!

I buy my season ticket and I want the club to buy players what the fee's are I'm not really bothered!

And he might.

Some people aren't happy either way. Last summer we left it too late and had to buy cheap so everyone moaned, claiming some players are worth breaking the bank for if they win us the title.

So we break the bank in order to get business done early and everyone goes into hysterics again.

Not one decision that has been made by this club has done us any huge harm. Aguero cost us £35m and he delivered the greatest moment of our lives, so who's to say Fernandinho won't do the same? Give it time, then complain if things are going wrong.

Because its suits them to have something to moan and gripe about when in fact there really is nothing to moan and gripe about!!

Too right - at this stage the fee is an irrelevance (on the basis it's not our money) we can only form a view as to whether he represents value for money when we have seen his contribution over a period of time.

I totally disagree with all this moaning and bitching. Complain about what?? Its not your money, nor mine. If they chose to pay £200-trillion, who cares?? Its not your money!! Whats the f**king problem with you lot today!!?? None of us has the remotest idea what was or was not paid, and we never will. You all whing and whine like your mothers and children had been sold into slavery to pay for these transfers!
