IF and is say IF. City paid 34 million for him, it only means we can afford it and should be looked at on a positive note. We wouldnt pay that if it would come back and bite us later in the transfer market or regarding FFP.
This only shows our finanses are strong and the forecast for the future must be looking good economcly

I fucking wouldn't. Let's not kid ourselves here - that's a joke of a fee and this guy is a gamble. He'll be completely worthless within 5 years so to come anywhere near justifying this fee he's going to have to hit the ground running and make a colossal impact

Some people aren't happy either way. Last summer we left it too late and had to buy cheap so everyone moaned, claiming some players are worth breaking the bank for if they win us the title.

So we break the bank in order to get business done early and everyone goes into hysterics again.

Not one decision that has been made by this club has done us any huge harm. Aguero cost us £35m and he delivered the greatest moment of our lives, so who's to say Fernandinho won't do the same? Give it time, then complain if things are going wrong.

I totally disagree with all this moaning and bitching. Complain about what?? Its not your money, nor mine. If they chose to pay £200-trillion, who cares?? Its not your money!! Whats the f**king problem with you lot today!!?? None of us has the remotest idea what was or was not paid, and we never will. You all whing and whine like your mothers and children had been sold into slavery to pay for these transfers!

People were saying 'it's not your money, who cares?' a couple of years back and last summer we found we were fucked because FFP meant that we couldn't blow any amount of money on any player and we still can't

Havn`t we got a change on our wage structure nowadays ? I understood from some time ago,that any new players coming in,would not earn the same as the top earners,but massive bonuses would be paid,based on trophies/success ??

I fully trust our owners & board not to make that mistake. If Soriano says that FFP doesn't affect our plans, I'll take his word unless it's proven prudent not to. There's a reason you or I aren't running a top football club...........

That's a good point Oakie, and if the potential bonuses aren't included in the numbers I stand corrected..
