The same way Mourinho is bluffing to make it sound like City are favourites and were ready made to win the league whereas Chelsea weren't, Pellegrini has over played injury timeframes all season with the exception of those the club could not decipher (Jovetic and Rodwell). If Pellegrini says 15 days I would expect to see Fernandinho play some part in a game within 10days.

yep, wouldn't be at all surprised to see him v chelsea

I would. I'm not sure Pellegrini is a big bluffer to be honest.

I don't think I've ever sweated on an injury like this one before.

You're a flapper though Dave (:

Pellers has been consistent all year re:injuries, every 'estimate' baring jovetic has romped home well within that estimate..... Like I said on the aguero thread, he'd be doing the oppositions job for them by naming them as having a chance now, I'll stick with reading between his wrinkly lines, 2 out of the 3 of aguero, fern and nasri will be involved v chavs, all 3 v barca!!!!

Having looked at the training photos, stumbled upon Fernandinho with his boots on in the changing room.

Would suggest he took part in some sort of training outside or he would've had trainers on. Just an observation.

Let's hope you're right, all 3 are needed to face the Catalans.

Those are old pictures compiled to celebrate Pelle's winning the manager of the month.

This is one of those very few injuries that makes you feel sick when you hear it because you know just how critical it could be.
The amount of time he is out could genuinely make or break the season. It's that important.

Picture this. We go in to the Barca game expecting fern and sergio to miss out. The night comes and the teams are announced and they have made it. It will give the crowd a huge lift and the belief will flood back.

If ever there was a time to bluff then it's probably now.I don't understand why any manager wouldn't bluff a bit here and there. Why show the enemy your hand well in advance? Keep them guessing

But sky have said so, we are doomed, doomed I tell you (:

Pellers playing a blinder here, like I said, 2 out of the 3 minimum will be involved for the barca game.......

Yea I think the same. At least 2 of them but hopefully and quietly confident that all 3 will be back

Physio Room has Nasri and Fernandinho both back for the Barcelona game; and Nasri fit for the Chelsea game.

Too early for Aguero, but I'm feeling both games are winnable.

In hindsight given the workload he has had we should have gone straight out on the 1st of Jan and tried to grab either Matic or Fernando. Stubborn short sight by City again in another winter window.

What was the fee reported we wouldn't pay Porto for Fernando? 12m?

We wouldn't pay it because we could get him for free in the Summer, yet now he has supposedly renewed his deal despite a reported verbal agreement with us?

Very strange!
