Silva and Nasri don't close down players properly. The Camp Nou is basically hell on earth . We will only win if we use the players that are up for the fight.. I don't believe Silva and Nasri have the legs to chase players high up the pitch.

Fernandinho is our best presser, so why use him in front of the back 4 ?

The best way to beat Barcelona is to stop them from playing. We must use the 4-2-3-1. High line. High pressure. It's what we tried on Tuesday but our players up front didn't have the legs to chase the Barcelona players. We must make it difficult for them and not allow them to play their passing game. Once we get the ball, we break very quickly with Fernandinho, Navas and Aguero.

Two questions about Fernandinho

1) How on earth has he managed to play in Europe (Champions league/Europa League) for so long without anyone of the bigger European clubs taking note of him? I genuinely think he would get in most of the top teams on what I've seen of him so far

2) I know that their is this thought that the Brazil manager isn't keen on the players playing in Ukranian league, but seriously, how has he overlooked Fernandinho and instead opted for Paulinho, Lucas and Ramires who are clearly inferior players?

I'm glad he has made his way into the Brazil squad now, but it must be frustrating for him knowing that his performance levels are probably the same now as they have been for the last few seasons yet a move to City has seen him get into the managers thoughts.

Nope. You are incorrect. There is no point pressing the ball and wasting energy chasing it up front so our forwards were not required to. Exert some pressure, but you are very unlikely to win the ball. Press the ball when it is played in to the midfielders. That is what Bayern did so effectively. And when they won the ball they kept it well, passed is effectively and attacked with pace and power. We did eveything right, except we let ourselves down at first with our ball retention and use of it - giving it away too often.

Because we are now chasing the game somewhat, we will have to decide whether we take a risk on Barca's overlapping full backs and play Silva, Nasri, Aguero and Negredo. Or we play similar to last time, with Aguero up top instead of Negredo. Tough decisions. In my opinion, we play our strongest team and hope Barca fail to take the chances they will inevitably create. If we score one early, we can alter things. Pellegrini will not be influencing much though and that is a shame. Going to be down to whatever team wants it more, and I think we will have the heart to turn this around.

He has been linked for quite a few years with Chelsea etc but no club apart from us has had the balls to go in and get someone for a huge fee from such a supposed "inferior" league.

I thought it was a bad mistake, but he more than made up for it with several key tackles including as you point out the one that produced the 3rd goal.

The 2nd and 3rd goals yesterday involved our stars who were missing in the defeat against Chelsea. Real shame that. Still eats me up that they have done the double over us, as we are plain and simply a better team.

I spotted that too on the videos. Also saw Demichelis picking up the ball from Fernandinho's tackle, and playing the ball into Yaya's path for him to charge forward. Looked simple, but a lot of defenders would have just whacked it clear, or struggled to get the ball under control.
