Deserves 1 more year. Still fully capable of being a class act in the prem, manage his games and he’s still good for 15-20 starts across all comps next season.

plus it would save us 40-50m on a replacement that could be spend towards a striker.

Getting frustrated with the hold up here on his future. More than good enough to keep going

I’d imagine if we win the CL he may move to pastures new. 4 PL’s, a host of cups & fingers crossed a CL. He may just think he’s done all he can.

I think that’s probably part of the issue? Ferna wants more game time as he still feels he can play more than he does and wants to get more game time as his career winds down.
