I have been really impressed with Fernandinho this season and am really glad he came to City. He was amazing today against Norwich (yes, I know the Canaries are not a good team). Even so, he is so strong as a defending midfielder that City would certainly have been in real trouble with the prolonged absence of Kompany.

Nobody's a £30m player, £30m is an obscene amount of money that ridiculous people have caused to be the valuation of a group of very good professionals.

The valuation is meaningless, you won't find another player like him in the league, and you'd struggle to find one in the world. City could afford it, and that's all that matters.
