The Man City owner Sheikh Mansour is also said to be prepared to bid against Abramovich, and would probably be able to offer Torres himself untold riches if he chooses to join Man City, but what he can’t offer him is the chance to play in the Champions League, and even have a chance to win it with Chelsea.

So Man City and Chelsea are going to enter a bidding war for Fernando Torres, from debt ridden crumbling Liverpool.

Typical of the modern plight of football.

This isn’t a battle between two football clubs for a player

This isn’t a battle between two managers for a player.

It’s a battle between two power hungry oil rich billionaires for a new toy.

It's great when we are the richest club in the world.

:)

Its amazing how everyone moans at The Shiekh and Ambromovich for the way they do things, yet the same people think the Glazers and the Americans down at liverpool are hero's and that its humerous. Even though the concept of a foreign owner coming in and changing the way things are done is exactly the same. This just underlines thats its the jelousy that fuels these thoughts because it isn't thier team even though they kid themselves that it's because they think we are ruining football.

And if we did buy Torres, it would be Liverpool ruining football because they chose the price to sell him at.

oh since you said it, might as well

it's a battle between two power hungry oil rich billionaires for a new toy in football, ergo

it's a battle between two managers employed by the two power hungry oil rich billionaires for a player, ergo

it's a battle between two football clubs managed by two managers employed by the two power hungry oil rich billionaires, ergo

ONLY Man City and Chelsea are to enter a bidding war for Torres.

Abramovic did not get his monies from oil, but yes football clubs are the property of wealthy men. Is this some kind of revelation?

AC Milan, Juventus, United, Liverpool, Real Madrid have all enjoyed the patronage and support of the likes of Berlusconi, Agnelli family, Glazers (and Edwards before them, Moores etc

The English Top 4 bent football's rules with the creation of the Premiership, and the Champions League so that they got the lion share of the revenue, and when one of them is incompetent enough to fall through their safety net they cry Foul!

The lesson here is don't get out your depth, the yanks are small 'FRIES' compared to the shiekh and abramovich, they only ever invested to make a quick buck, the glazers got tremendously lucky purchasing the scum, as uniteds brand is such that they will always recoup there money, the scousers are truly the ones that are fucked, could be the 1st major force to implode on all fronts.

Please take this with a pinch of salt if you want its what I know.

I have ITK info that Torres will either stay at Liverpool or he will move away to another club, I can not tell you who he is BUT he has told me this is 100% going to happen.

Please dont PM me as I will not give names.
