i still believe there to be something in this!

What about, 'You sign, I'll be half an hour's drive away, we can socialise in a normal fashion'?

we are in the transfer forum!

no sense allowed in here come on m8. :)

Surely it's about time we closed this thread as Torres has said he wants to stay at Liverpool. Even if they want rid of him, we don't want to pay umpteen zillion for a player who doesn't want to join the City revolution. Milner likewise as he is not worth their ridiculous asking price.

Interesting, but has Torres actually said he wants to stay at Liverpool?

All I have heard/read is Hodgson saying he want to stay, nothing from Torres himself and his agent is certainly talking to a few clubs.

Still fairly sure he will be a Chelsea player by the 1st Sept.

could someone please tell me when torres has said he wants to stay at liverpool and post a link? I don't mean hodgson saying he told him he wants to stay - i actually mean torres himself saying i want to stay at liverpool

torres or his agent has not said he wants to stay at liverpool the quote has come from the liverpool manager, how many managers have said the player is staying only for them to move on because the deal was just to good to turn down etc, there will be more twists and turns with this one and my money is on that he wont be a liverpool player in the next 10 days or so
the possibility of this guy being a city player is good and those that say other are deluded

What’s the rush, let’s buy him on deadline day then any threat from Liverpool will be well and truly nullified this season. By the time the next window opens the bank will have claimed their cut!

These type of comments are quite regular on Bluemoon and the naivity of them always takes my breath away a little.

Exactly - Torres HAS NOT said he wants to stay at Liverpool. Woy said it cos as he is a LFC player he has to turn up for training ala Mascherano.

Come and join the party: City striker tells World Cup winner

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has urged Liverpool striker Fernando Torres to join him at Eastlands, saying his own move was the best decision of his life.

Torres has been repeatedly linked with City this summer, although interest appeared to have cooled, particularly after Reds boss Roy Hodgson said the Spain striker was looking forward to returning to training on Monday.

However, Tevez was quoted as saying in The Sun: "Torres would definitely make us better. He's one of the top strikers in the world and I would love to have him as a teammate.

"Last year we ended up contesting the Champions League places. I have no doubt that this year we will achieve that aim and fight for the title.

"The club will pick up reinforcements and this will make us stronger.

"I know I've never regretted coming to City. It's the best decision I ever made."
