I'll have a guess and suggest it's Kaziu Deyna. Our first foreign import and coming from across the iron curtain and the Polish army, and with Swales and the Home Office involved, it took ages to sort out the paperwork. Deyna was already a veteran when he was signed, and the whole process seemed to add another year to his age. Apart from one game where he showed his old abilities, he spent his time at City playing like an OAP.Bert Trautmann's Parachute said:That'd be Nasri.Taylor said:Slowest transfer in the history of mankind!
you forgot about Di Maria, Cavani, Pogba, Shaw, Fabregas and Sanchez. I just don't know how you can simply ignore the profound ITK knowledge on here about our imminent new signings.ColinLee said:Don't think so, Sagna free, Fernando £16 million (incl addons?) and Benatia (say) £20 million (I'm not buying the silly money being quoted).George Hannah said:I think selling our own players has a lot to do with it - this £49m nett restriction requires some significant cash coming in to comply.MeatHunterrr said:Possibly...its frustrating that every day there is rumour that edging closer, verge of signing but nothing happens..

He was a big disappointment, I agree. However, I don't remember anything about the transfer saga itself.I'm no cynic said:I'll have a guess and suggest it's Kaziu Deyna. I watched a game at Norwich where he stood back horrified as Mickey Robinson was being kicked to shreds in a tag tackle by their neanderthal defenders (maybe in the hope that the blood soaked ball might trickle out for him to elegantly pass to someone else.)Bert Trautmann's Parachute said:He was a big disappointment, I agree. Maicon (Porto) on City-bound Fernando: "He is the best midfielder in football. He can attack, win the ball, defend well, and is everywhere."
