WTF are you guys whinging about? We have midfielders crawling out of our ears. We were worried about the lack of support for Yaya and we signed Fernandinho who is fooking ace. We also have Milner and Rodwell sitting on the bench. (not to mention Barry having a storming season at Everton)

If there's one thing I've learned being a City fan in the last few seasons, is that having half decent players on the bench causes alsorts of shit. Belamy, Adebayor, Balotelli, Bridge, Ireland...all they did was cause a big stink and the media lapped it up.

So lets say we signed Fernando yesterday. Does hes go into the first 11? Does he fook! He only plays if someone gets injured or a few last 10 minute sub appearences to run the clock down.

I don't give a fook that we didn't sign him. Infact, probably saved ourselves 15m quid on a benchwarmer.

So you are under the impression that YaYa and Fernan are incapable of suffering an injury and have no need for rotation?

Plus there's no mention of Garcia who is clearly 3rd choice for Pellegrini and is repeatedly doing a job for the team, Rodwell is continually injured and there are doubts as to whether he'd be an able DM anyway and Milner is seen more as a wide player.

We have 3 reliable centre mids. An injury and a suspension from a Garcia, Demichelis pairing.

I don't know how they hadn't heard of Fernando when he's played against City twice in the Europa League.

Even though we thumped them, Fernando was one of the few Porto players that could leave the tie with his head up. Proper little tenacious terrier.

Thought he was their best player along with Vierinha

I also thought he was their best player too. Especially in the first game.

I lived in Llansantfraid where TNS played at the time and I couldn't tell you any of thier names either! Since then Total Network solutions have become The New Saints and changed their ground won the WPL countless times and I still havn't a clue who any of them are.

Great point. I had forgotten about Zucilini. Yaya, Fernandinho, Fernando and Zucilini would be a brilliant set of defensive midfielders to have. And with Yaya being 31 and us playing so many matches, there will be enough matches to keep everyone happy. Wonder what will happen to Garcia/Rodwell though.

Great point. I had forgotten about Zucilini. Yaya, Fernandinho, Fernando and Zucilini would be a brilliant set of defensive midfielders to have. And with Yaya being 31 and us playing so many matches, there will be enough matches to keep everyone happy. Wonder what will happen to Garcia/Rodwell though.

Reckon at least one of Garcia or Rodwell may stay, more likely Garcia as he seems content with his role and has actually done a decent job coming on in the second half usually to shore up the back line and even done well as a starter lately.

Per whoscored.com, in 6 CL appearances he averaged an 89.3 pass success rate in the 80-90 touches/game range. Tallied a few key passes per game. Only got 1 yellow card. Sounds like he'd fit in with the boyz.

Yeah but with 2 new players coming in, would Garcia have those games left as well? Though we may loan out either of Zucilini/Rodwell since they are both young and keep Garcia for one year maybe.
