Haha sorry glen but to add that to an already fantastic squad tells me they are using our spending cap while we are limited as such. Fabregas, luis, zouma and costa into a squad that has hazard, Oscar, willian, matic, ramieres, cahill and soon courtoius spells trouble.

I see it as very healthy competition.With the additions of Sagna and Fernando alone,i reckon our first 16 is still stronger than theirs.

I agree, I really don't know how this would help mate....maybe if we paid 8mil now and 4mil next season.....it would only be 8mil off our allowed 49mil for this season's transfers?...we've agreed a price, wish they just stop messing around and close the deal.....

Except that that is not the way it works, if we agree £12 million then that is how much it goes through the books this summer as far as UEFA are concerned.

Haven't read all the thread but just seen a post by fantasy saying it was done.

About f*cking time if we have. What page are we on yet on this thread ? 300 ? Nearly as long as the Isco fiasco.

I'm glad he's signed anyway. I did wonder why he signed a 4 year contract in January with Porto when he knew we wanted him. I wasn't sure about his commitment to the project to be honest.

But we've got him at last.

I'm happy for the 'done dealers' as well. I bet one or two were flapping like lady bits dancing the fandango having staked their ITK reputations on it. They don't have to don the face paint and red noses now and do the 'clown walk' outside Manchester Town Hall.
