My only criticism of them is that they've not really engaged directly with City fans yet. It was great hearing their plans for New York, but I'd like to hear them speak directly to us about their plans in Manchester. The odd video interview on the website / engagement with the UK national media would go a long way.

.

Haha. As I read it I knew there would be one.

I don't want another clown standing up making stupid proclaimations, or promoting himself with daft interviews. I want businessmen who realise that actions speak louder than words, and that low-class rubbish like that can only cause you problems and it totally unnecessary. And that's what we've got.

These men are the real deal. They make Cook look like the chancer he is.

Lol, so is Khaldoon a "clown standing up making stupid proclaimations, or promoting himself with daft interviews"? Who speaks "low-class rubbish like that can only cause you problems and it totally unnecessary."?

He gives one interview a year to the club website, which I and others are very appreciative of. Surprised at your low opinion of him for doing so.

That one interview a year on the website would be great by Ferran and Txiki, I'd personally love to hear their plans for the club.

Are Ferran and Txiki "clowns standing up making stupid proclaimations, promoting themselves with daft interviews" when in New York, but when in Manchester they are "businessmen who realise that actions speak louder than words, and that low-class rubbish like that can only cause you problems and it totally unnecessary"?

I've never said I want them turning up at Mad Hatters or Supporters Clubs. I'm talking of one or two interviews a year with the website / national media. Nothing crass or "daft" about that, as Khaldoon will testify.

Everything you needed to know, Ferran spelled out last summer.

Khaldoon is the chairman, Ferran and Txiki are directors.

Yeah, I was totally referring to Khaldoon in that post. Course I was. It was so cryptically worded and cleverly structured that anyone would make that conclusion rather than the less obvious suggestion that I meant soriano's predecessor. Let me know if I need to word it a bit simpler for you and any under 8s who might have logged onto their dad's accounts.

Khaldoon gives you his annual chairman's interview. The chief exec and d of f keep their mouths shut. Fine and dandy.

I understand that some fans see things from within their own little mirrored bubble, but we have proper football men running our club now, thank God.

Anyway, you haven't been on the Pellikeegan thread today. We've missed you ;-)

God you're a strange kid. You didn't refer to Khaldoon. I used him as an example to show you how ridiculous your "all executives who give interviews are clowns" theory is.

I really appreciate his "annual chairmans interview" as I'm guessing you do. Is it so absurd that I'd also like an "annual CEO / DoF interview"? If you don't think it's needed then that's fine, but why so angry?

I've noticed with you that you very much see the world in black and white, good and evil. There's no shades of grey with you is there? You remind me of George W Bush.

Mancini - Bad
Garry Cook - Bad
Ferran - Good
Pellegrini - Good

So everything those people do is seen by you through those terms. Mancini can win our first trophy in 30 odd years, first title in 44, but he's still a **** because he's got long hair.

Garry Cook did some great things for the club, he also made some terrible mistakes. But you can't see any of the positives because in DD world he's Skeletor and Ferran is He-Man.

I think Ferran, Txiki and Pellers are all doing great jobs, but it doesn't mean they're perfect. They can still do things wrong and make mistakes. I've said many times on here that I like Pellegrini, (you tend to ignore those) but that doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes and do things I disagree with.

Don't care if I never hear a peep out of these two as long as they do a good job. Massive fail if they don't sign a centre half for the second window running.

imo we don't want anyone getting to ask either of them questions, their brains are for mcfc use only

Re: Ferran Soriano & Txiki Begiristain

I've been impressed when I've heard them talk about NYCFC/MHFC, particularly Soriano.

So would like to hear more about MCFC but its not a big deal.

Completely agree. They're doing a great job, would be great to hear a bit more from them but it's not a major issue.
