They fucked the Mancini sacking, but it was never going to be popular. But! They did bring in a manager on his merits, as opposed to his past successes (think Guardiola), and that manager brought us a domestic double and squad harmony. We went from losing to Wigan in the Cup final, and losing on the final day at home to Reading, to winning the league and league cup.

I'm not sure anyone could claim that we'd have done the same without their decision to bring in Pellegrini.

And this is exactly why they're the men making the important decisions and we're just fans talking about it on a forum. I'm sure they'll get a couple more things wrong in their time here, but crucially they'll almost certainly get a lot more right than wrong, and put us in a very good position as a result.

IMHO, we need to see what is the outcome of the FFP sanctions / appeal before we deciding if Ferran is a hero or zero. Hopefully the outcome will be OK.

Also, i support City. I am not very interested in the Melbourne and New York franchises.

Excellent point...... because,if we do fail,it will be the ideal opportunity to label him a clown.

They made the right transfers and got the right manager. No doubt they will continue to improve rather than what we did after the 11/12 championship.

They've done a fantastic job. If they want to go back to Barca someday that's okay, but I hope they stay. Barca are so chaotic with the way that they're run, these two have a mandate here.

Slightly ironic that, of all of their signings, only MDM started the final game.

however, navas, negrado, and to a lesser degree jovetic have been essential in what weve achieved this season
