A list for sure in my opinion - but others may disagree.ElanJo said:Now that we have Nastasic's CL future cleared up, would Pogba be A list or B list?

A-list & foreign. He didn't stay 3 years with the rags. 35 months it was. Would have to have been with us for 2 years to get on the B-list.George Hannah said:A list for sure in my opinion - but others may disagree.ElanJo said:Now that we have Nastasic's CL future cleared up, would Pogba be A list or B list?
City's Champions League hopes next season have been given a boost after Uefa relaxed the terms of their squad restriction.
The Blues will only be able to name a 21-man squad for next season’s competition rather than the usual 25, as part of their punishment for breaches of financial fair play rules.
That led to fears that they would have to meet the strict criteria of including eight home-grown players in the squad.
That would have meant they could only include 13 foreign stars, and with 14 already on their books, and three more expected this summer, it would have left manager Manuel Pellegrini with a major headache.
Uefa have refused to reveal the detail of the make-up of the reduced squad and City say they have been instructed to stay tight-lipped.
But M.E.N. Sport understands that the Blues squeezed a concession out of Uefa and will be allowed 16 ‘free’ players and just five ‘home-grown’.
It explains why City have not made efforts to keep out-of-contract English players Joleon Lescott and Gareth Barry, while Micah Richards, Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair will leave.
Why do you keep banging on about 'locally trained', nobody (except you, constantly) has mentioned 'locally trained' in relation to Nastasic.George Hannah said:This is fun, the only purpose of this discussion it to ascertain whether Nasty can count as a non-foreign trained player in our CL squad next season. The answer is unfortunately he can't. He needed to have been here 3 years to be eligible as locally trained - so he will occupy one of the 17 (or less) spots we have been allocated for players who are not club trained or home association trained.pavelsrnicek said:George Hannah said:that's completely incorrect, we can only play Nastasic as a foreign trained player and consequently he uses up one of the places (be it 13,14,15,16 or 17) in the squad for non- locally trained players (2,3 or 4 of whom have to be club trained - #lancs blue)
Wrong Nastasic will be on the B list next year as he will be with us over 2 years and born after 1st of January 1993.
If you mean have they written them in stone yet then the answer would be maybe ;)Bluep*ss said:George Hannah said:that's completely incorrect, we can only play Nastasic as a foreign trained player and consequently he uses up one of the places, be it 13,14,15,16 or 17 in the squad for non- locally trained players (2,3 or 4 of whom have to be club trained - #lancs blue)Prestwich_Blue said:The point is we can have as many players as we like on the B-list and he fulfils the criteria, having been with us two full seasons now and was born after 1/1/93. If he's on the B-list then he frees up a space on the A-list.
Does anyone else head hurt? with all of this...........I am glad you guys know the score. of FFP.
One last question : Has Uefa actually imposed these sanctions yet. IF so - where? please don't say "in the media" because they just guessing.
With phrases like BBC has learned etc...or believes.......
George Hannah said:because those are the relevant ones for determining whether Nastasic is eligible as a locally trained player and can be counted as one of the five - if that's how it turns out. The B list only contains players who turn twenty one in the current season, Nastasic turned 21 last season. I'm going to write a scholarly monograph on this.lancs blue said:
Why are you quoting List A regs when we're talking about List B??
