I say he's eligible which doesn't necessarily translate to City putting him in it. So it's a qualified YES from me...
with a 21 man restriction if he's eligible and saves a foreign trained spot on the A list they'd be nuts not to!
True. Then again we still don't know the makeup of the squad restriction let alone who we'll have to actually list in the first place.
but 21 isn't gonna change

The PL regulations about any under 21 player escaping the home-grown restrictions seems reasonable enough. However, on the currently fashionable BM reading of the UEFA rules, Nasty will be eligible to play in the Champs League this coming season through the B list. If he is still here the following season he will revert being a foreign trained player - having also been one last season. I ask myself is it consistent to scrap the three year club registration period that underlies the regulations for both A & B lists and substitute a two year qualification (as is the case for Nasty) for a single season only?

Anyway let's have a poll - Yes or No - Who thinks Nasty will be on the Champs League B list?

I say No

Nastasic qualifies for the B List so there's absolutely no reason why we wouldn't include him on it.

Hi Guys

If NYCFC have signed Lampard and Villa as widely reported, are the chances ond there season does not kick off until May, what are the chance es of us loaning them until the transfer window to keep them match fit.

Would Lampard (Home Grown) be a good asset in early European games ?

I guess the loan would be only a nominal fee ?

We still don't know whether 13 +8 or 16 +5 so until that is resolved it makes seeing who would be part of the squad difficult. Except 16 +5 would allow most of our players able to be named.

It's March I think, not May. Lampard definitely no. Villa probably not, we don't really need him. Maybe send them to Melbourne Hearts if their season starts early enough.

I think Villa and Lampard will train with City but I don't see them playing for us.

I don't see Lampard ever playing for a Chelsea rival.

I thought that was settled and it was 16+5
