BTW has anyone else had any issues with heading from a cross out wide in open play?

Whenever I whip in a cross the player on the receiving end seems really unresponsive and usually attempts to chest the ball despite my demand to shoot.

It only seems to come into effect when you're attacking, when you're defending a cross it seems to work alright.

It isn't a timing issue, since I never had this problem on Fifa 09, and it's starting to get on my tits.

Overall, when I overlook the appalling defensive AI (the way your AI controlled defenders seem to back off compulsively - creating huge gaps of unmanned space, only to bother closing the opposition down with a last ditch lunge. And the way in which they unnecessarily follow opposition runs off the ball to the point where the back four is rendered nonexistent (just play them offside!) - leaving nothing but the one defender who tracked the run standing in front of your keeper playing everyone onside), and the rectum discharge of a referee who occasionally side steps directly into an oncoming pass (no matter how much time there is to get out of the way) I'm actually quite enjoying it, Legendary is just that (the difficulty I've had all the issues on) - extremely difficult, much more so than Fifa 09. Which is a good thing, since it makes it all the more challenging and makes those last minutes injury time winners all the sweeter!

But I'm hoping with an update they can iron out a few of these faults with are becoming ever so slightly irritating.

Has anyone else noticed these issues?

WTF is "manual passing"?!

I keep hearing manual this, manual that - am I missing something?

its a setting that means you have to be more presise because usually the computer assists you in directing shots/passes

Where is this setting? I can't find an option.

Crossing is harder i agree BUT ive been looking into this(sad i know!!) and its all about TIMING (esp heading) and who is heading or chesting the ball if they have poor stats for these its highly unlikley they will score IF you time it just right(like i did with Robinho you can score some great goals!, overhead kick just on the corner of the D!!)

Huge pat on the back with that mate. That is quality. I am getting a ps3 for christmas along with fifa 10 and pes 10 and call of duty 6 and so on but i am using this cover for fifa. Quality job mate. Absolutely quality.
