Firework went off about three rows behind me, it was that loud could feel it in my stomach. Now I don't advocate violence, I always try to find a reasonable solution to problems as such. But I happened to bump into one of the twats giving it the big un behind the stewards near the train station. And yes I'm ashamed to say it I banjoed the twunt, think the firework thing just fired me up. I'm not bigging myself up, and I'm not proud of what I did, but I've not been that wound up at a game in a long time.

This myth that they are loyal supporters despite the fact their ground was always half full in the 80s. I remember we went to their place and they only has 17 000 fans in the ground 3000 of them were Everton fans. What Geordies do not understand is that they only have 1 club to compete with in terms of supporters and even they are 10 miles away. There is only 1 club in Newcastle meaning everybody supports them and Sunderland have been shit for years anyway. Everton and City have to compete with Liverpool and United for supporters the 2 biggest and most successful clubs in England. Not to mention all the other clubs in the North West. Everyone outside of Sunderland in the North East supports Newcastle even people in Scotland and Yorkshire. The only reason why Newcastle have a large support is down to geography not down to to how loyal your fans are.

They don't even deserve Pardew or the team that played well for them today, they think they have a moral right comparable to Liverpool just because they fucked up 95.

Exactly. The VAST majority of them are sound lads (and lasses), very much working-class, very down-to-earth, have a lot of time for the Geordies. Let's not tar them all with the same brush of a few nobs who throw fireworks, sing shit songs etc.

But what happened today wasn't just Newcastle fans. There were a couple of idiots in our end that threw a firework and a couple of seats. But what also hasn't been mentioned is the fact that a section of your support were also throwing coins.

Some of your goons got off a coach near the main MCFC car park and were chanting it on Joe Mercer way (aimed at fellas with kids mainly, not anywhere near Mary D's or somewhere you'd get shit back). When I pointed this out to one of the scar faced divs one of them said to me that he was a "Geordie HOOLIE" and "didnt gi a fuck like". He'd take us all on he said.

newcastle in general have decent fans just like city 'succes starved but loyal' they have one of the best away support in the prem and could have sold the top tier if they had taken it along with probably another 2k, there are dick heads at every club not just newcastle

Also some of the worst bother I have seen has been at St James - the FA cup game in 1977 (the first police escort I ever had in my life),a divisoon 2 game where we lost 5 or 6 nil and the cunts were still kicking the gates in to get at us.

They do have some good fans, but they also have a bigger % of dickheads than most clubs, and they are so fucking full of their own magnificience it is untrue
