First footage of police cracking a few skulls.

summary - to perform speedily without ceremony

Justice - The concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, fairness, or equity, along with the punishment of the breach of said ethics.

Not to hard to rationalize the actions of police here.

I agree. Just clear up what crime the kids on the bikes had committed.

It appears a concerted effort to get these guys was made and not just a random snatch of looters. For the police to do that common sense tells you they did something.

Of course we don't know this for a fact but thats my reading of it.

Teens on bikes in an area the police had made a sterile area wearing hoodies alone would make most people raise an eyebrow especially regarding what happened in the city.

Posting a definition of each word is not what I asked for...

@cyberblue the reports are that it was the tactical aid unit who were using a police heli to cut of people they saw taking part in the rioting/looting fleeing the city center.

Fair enough in that the Telegraph don't actually know either. Bit of a ****'s trick posting it as definite criminals getting beat up. By the same rule evidence may come out that they had done something wrong.

I wonder if everybody posting in this thread who are advocating the wanton clubbing of these kids beyond reproach themselves? Cast your minds back to being 13/14 would you all have been 100% certain you'd have been able to walk past a shop where doors/windows were smashed without picking out a little something? I'm not certain I would. Not talking about the little feckers that burn shite and smash the shops open in the first place (they deserve the full force of justice/retribution/wanton clubbing) but the other chancers who probably like I were at that age not having the faintest idea of the knock on effects of my actions. If you can all honestly say no way would you then I am keeping some top company these days and me mam's gonna be dead proud, and answering I wouldn't have been out at that time of night is a reflection of your parents not you!

Doubt I'd have been running around town late at night, but if like you say I was walking past and saw something as an opportunist and grabbed it - yeah maybe I would have. But then I'd expect a punishment if I got caught. And if that punishment was a few smacks with a baton, I sure as fuck wouldn't do it again.
