Fixtures Calendar - 2021/22

As much as it's always a case of us playing every team twice, home and away, I do always look to see if there are any months where we'll struggle to have a "rest" for a Premier League fixture. Obviously games will be rearranged as the season goes on, but no single month looks like it's stacked full of games that are must-win and that we'll have to be 100% ready for.

January looks to be our toughest test - with Arsenal (a), Chelsea (h), then Southampton (a). And there's a tough run at the end of February going into March, where we have Spurs (h), Everton (a), then United (h), but we'll be months into the season by then and things will have really changed. The big boost for me is our last four games - if we need to win all four, we've got a good chance.

As the transfer windows closes the end of Aug, no chance he will be sold to us before the first fixture

If the deal doesn't suit us, we'll walk away. There's no chance we don't go into the first game with our squad for the season. If Kane comes with complications, we'll get Haaland

Well we didn't sign Dias until after the season started and if City want Kate missing a few games won't be a deal breaker

Horrendous start, we never get a home game 1st
Well technically last year.... although the game was immediately postponed. I know there was a run of seasons that the league winners started at home the following season, I don't believe since 2012 we have ever done that. That being said my guess is that we asked for an away start

i wonder what the odds were of pulling out that start,,anyone would think its rigged, cherry picked
Every year, lmao.

If we have a comfortable start, someone complains about a hard finish.
If we have a comfortable run-in, someone complains about a hard start.
If we have a comfortable start and run-in, someone complains about a tough winter period.

Change Log
2021.06.16 - Premier League 21/22 Fixtures Announced
2021.06.14 - Tentative Pre-Season Games Added
2021.06.08 - Calendar Created with Draft Dates

Calendar updated in the first post ...

What jumps out is Chelsea (A) and Liverpool (A) sandwich the second CL group game ... watch Bayern or PSG away drop in there now ...

The Liverpool (H) is sandwiched between the two legs of the CL QF.

Leeds (A) sandwiched between the CL SF legs.

Leicester (A) straight after the first (stupid) International Break.

United (A) after the fourth CL group game.

And United (H) could be just before the 2nd leg of CL R16 (see calendar, it has two dates so we won't know when we play till December when draw and dates are out)

Jesus, if you think our start is a tough one, take a look at Norwich's first four games. Yikes!

Liverpool, City, Leicester, Arsenal - welcome back to the Premier League, lads.

Roll on weekend commencing August 14th.
Can't wait for the league to start again.

Same start as the 2010/11 season.

Wolves
Watford
Newcastle
West Ham
Villa

Is a pretty straight forward run in if we're gearing up for the back end of the CL and a Cup final.
