You see, I have an issue with this point.
Say City play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and get hammered 4-0. The players are down, and the fans are angry. Who would you rather play in the next three games? West Brom at home, Swansea away and then Liverpool at home, or Arsenal at home, Everton away and then Bolton at home? A run of a couple of hard games could actually affect the results later on in the season.
I don't think the fixtures are rigged or organised with an bias, but the way the fixtures are set out has a larger effect than people think.
