I don't like this lineup.
1. it shuttles Bernie outside.
2. It starts Lewis over Nunes and Kova which I don't agree with.
3. Alvarez as been off from.

4. Finally, it's new age Pep. Which I'm not the biggest fan of. I prefer the old school Pep who overstaffed his teams with mofirlders.

The new look Pep now prefers an over representation of defenders.
Lilo or someone needs to let him know this infatuation with Simone has run its course.

I agree with you re Nunes who deserved to start after his last two performances however I think Alvarez starting is a good call. The Brazilians will be wary of him and he'll be bang up for it.

Maybe the plan is to bring Nunes on in the second half if needed, his athleticism could be key when the opposition is tiring.

Nunes is getting dispossessed 1.52 times per 90 to Rico's 1.84 despite the former having significantly more touches(69 to 51), take-ons(5.22 to 1.32!), and carries(49 to 32) per 90.

With that being said, it's a small sample size and I love both players but what you said isn't factually true.
