Foden video

So if someone comes up to you this week and gives you a smack in the mouth, it's somehow relevant for me to say something like "you wouldn't catch Kompany or David Silva getting in that kind of trouble"?
If I were Phil I’d avoid places like the boxing in town on a Saturday night. That’s all.
As Semper said in his post and pretty much nails it:
“It‘s sad that one has to be so careful these days, especially someone in the public eye. There are too many pissed/coked up bellends in certain places, which are better avoided to be honest.”
Which is what the likes of Silva etc would do. Don’t put yourself in the line of idiots who frequent things like last night’s boxing.

Punching a woman is just a no, it’s disgraceful, these were fairly big guys, there’s many examples of one punch deaths that leads to the ruin of many families. I suppose if you are coked up the consequences don’t enter the equation, violent, morons.

He's a fucking young lad who wants to go watch the boxing in his home city. What's wrong with that?

Fair enough he should have had security with him but then, unfortunately, he's just learned that lesson because of this shit.

That's not really something to berate him for, is it?

How the fuck would anyone know what the likes of Silva and Kompany got up to at that age? Apparently Kompany wasn't the good boy he grew to be and David was out getting smashed at Valencia.

The difference is that people weren't desperate enough to film themselves provoking them in those days because nobody was trying to chase clout on Twitter.

It's just a stupid comparison to make and the weirdest talking point to take away from this.

I just saw it, foden doesnt really do anything. Its all his mum and some other guy giving it back to some bellends.

Firstly it looks like the group of bellends had spotted Foden and were following giving him grief. He got escorted back into the box. The other video appears to show the scumbags shouting abuse and threats outside the door, "Send him out" and other bollocks. It looks like his mum went out to tell them to clear off and it escalated from there. I know she shoved one but it was a shitehouse trick punching her. They should be easy to track from social media after posting the videos. The venue is a joke, no sign of any security or control; n that corridor which houses the boxes.

I remember Najid Daho, watched him beat a mate of ours Les Walsh from Middleton at Oldham sports centre, then watched him at studio 1 at granada studios, think he got beat in that one, we met him after the fight and he was a really nice guy.
I think I would have been at the Oldham fight but can’t say definitely. However I was at the Granada Studio fight. It was against an Aussie Barry Michael on a Sunny Saturday afternoon. We went to the after fight do at the Richfield Club in town, Jack Trickett, Tommy Doc, a few of the Quality Street gang in there.

Najib was a great lad, met him a few times through Ken Daniels, spoke about 5 or 6 languages, so sad he died in a car crash back in Morocco.

Yes recall Daho- A Moroccan guy who died in a car crash in his home land sadly at a very young age . I saw Daho in the early 80s driving his Capri down Deansgate and I aimed a few imaginary punches at him and he smiled and waved at me !
Yep, cracking lad, always had a smile, apart from when someone else was smacking him in the face.

I agree with you 100% mate.

Phil should be able to go out with his family and not have to worry about.

It's the pricks that need outing, trying to get 10 minutes of fame.

If that was a City punching a United players mum, I'd want the lad locked up.

On a side note, Phil's mam basically whoop ass those scousers.
