Another post on the Sittard story. For those who don't know, I'm trying to see if I can take a team to win the Champions league/Europa league with players just coming through the academy (as in, you aren't allowed to make any transfers):

Between you and me, the Europa League is definitely a possibility this year. Into the semi finals!

I don't know if it's the same with anyone else, but I'm struggling to get into another game. I've got a long term one with Athletic that I can't help going back to. Manage about half a season on a different save before getting bored and reverting back...

Exactly same here. I've been playing my Stockport County save for 7 seasons and love it but just can't get into another team.

With the Youth Challenge, not allowing yourself to delve into transfers, have you spent your money on coaching? I.e. compensation to other clubs for them.

Think I might try and do this with Crewe or a Belgian side.

With the Youth Challenge, not allowing yourself to delve into transfers, have you spent your money on coaching? I.e. compensation to other clubs for them.

Think I might try and do this with Crewe or a Belgian side.

Essentially you have to put all of your resources into improving the facilities to get the best Youth Recruitment/Junior Coaching you can (which gets you the best possible chance of bringing in youngsters with decent potential) and then upgrading the training facilities (which gives you the best chance possible of them reaching their potential).

..And yeah, I mean I had to spend big on getting coaches in to fill the roles that I wanted. But it's paid off as I have loads more money than I need, my facilities are nearly maxed out and my training categories are all 4 1/2 star or above.

Takes time, but it's really rewarding in the end :)

Just left FC Twente mid-season after 3 years of winning the league and gone to Real Madrid. Real Madrid are 10th in the league and a transfer budget of £256million!! Just about to sign Gotze for 100mil!!

Yeah thought so, just going to do the same with my Wrexham side, managed to get them into the Championship, so gonna focus on youth now. Just managed to beat Italy, ranked 1st in the world with my Wales side, it's 2017 ha

Has anyone ever managed to sign Neymar?? In the Champs League with Twente and now at Real Madrid but he still won't entertain the idea

anyone recommend any 5* attack, striker, defence, tactics and ball control coaches? whoever I bring in I can't get 5* on those categories, just 4, 4.5...
