Forget Recriminations, how do we sort this mess out?

Mourinho is destined to manage Manchester City Football Club whether you like it or not.......................

In my humble opinion of course

What an unhelpful tone.

I've learned to value your opinion mate, and I hope your right on this occasion.

Any differant to saying Dzeko will be a City player back in Oct/Nov when we already have other strikers here?

Like i've said many a time..........there's no differance in talking about a manager as there is a player.

It baffles me why it seems such a touchy subject.........it's opinions, nothing more, nothing less

Some of our fans have their tongue so far up Mourinho's arse.

Tell me this; What happens if Jose comes and we still haven't won anything after 2 years? Then where do we turn?

There have been plenty of times this season where Mancini has looked like the better manager in my opinion. We're still very much in two cups and will most likely finish in the top 4. That for a man who has still only been here just over 12 months would represent significant progress.

If I have my optimistic hat on all of this getting rid of players (let's face it, none of the ones that have been shipped out have a future here) is a sign that we will bring in the 4 new players required in the summer. That's what we're down to now, not £300m to buy two new lots of teams. The stepping stones have gone and we're 4 £20m players away from being where we want to be. I just wish he signed one or two of them in January!

So don't employ the best manager in the business just in case he fails and then we'd have no-one to turn to? Not sure I follow the logic there. As for being up Mourinho's arse, I guess I'll have to hold my hands up to that one, although I'm not sure why wanting the best possible manager at the helm should mean you are beneath contempt to some people on here. Not that I particularly care about that tbh.

As long as those four £20m players mate, aren't Lescott, Milner, Adebayor and Barry (yeah, I know Gaz baz only cost £14m!)

I agree in terms of four players of 'real quality'

I don't think that is neccessarily what he is saying. He has a point, we are doing reasonably well at the moment, no matter what people are saying and the manager has only had 14 months and has not yet had 1 complete season. Mourinho is a very good manager but, you know, he may take a couple of years to get us where we want to be. Will he be afforded that time just because he is Mourinho or will he be hounded every time we draw a match? Maybe we need to be slightly more tolerant of Mancini because the way we are going, no manager will have a chance at City, even Mourinho. Also, it makes me laugh when people whinge about Mancini's negative tactics and freezing players out and then say they want Mourinho as the antidote. That said, I do think Mourinho is a good manager and would be happy for him to manage City one day but not until Mancini hs had at least 1 full season to be judged on.

What really makes me laugh is those that seem hell bent on seeing no wrong and defending Bobby regardless of what is happening are forgetting one very important thing and that is, Bobby himself has now come out in public and said he himself is not happy, not happy with the players performance and not happy with his own.

Yet anyone that posts the same view is hounded as talking shit and told to fuck off?

Listen to your own man, he is admitting to problems.

Mancini would win us the PL title, of that i have no doubt but how long it would take is anyone's guess and i would wager it wouldn't be in the next 3 years at least. Forget the 10 year plan, it no longer applies and it has to happen in a much shorter time scale now as it means the off the pitch business moves at a pace required by the new FFPR.

Mourinho has been there, done it, worn the t-shirt and if available is an absolute must for us as a club, the project and would lift us right to the very top by his sheer presence alone.

No guarantees with him as there isn't in anything in life but he is the best and all you can do is get the best to give you the very best chance of succeeding.
