It'll be interesting to see whether Pellegrini is told to play Soriano and Begiristain's 4-3-3 or continue with the system he's used at Malaga. Personally I'd love to see a midfield 3 of Yaya, Fernandinho and Rodwell.

I think it's hard to predict what system we'll play before the transfer window's closed though. If we do sign Cavani, he and Aguero will both expect to play every game and unless Aguero's played out wide then we'll surely have to play with two strikers.

As I posted In another thread maybe that explains the link with el sharaawy It would allow Aguero to play in the middle with Navas and El sharaawy either side

That would be cool but I can't see Milan letting him go. How much would he cost?

I just watched a few matches from our title winning season, and Micah was absolutely immense. I really hope he can stay fit so that he and Zab can duke it out for the spot. Zab was great last season, but a fully fit Micah will push him. Micah is also great centre half cover.

I think our first 11 will have one or two tweaks based on opponent, or at least that's how it should be. Seem teams we should start with a three of rodwell-yaya-fernandinho, others just yaya-fernandinho. Milner also offers options as we saw this year. The defense picks itself, but I want to see Micah pushing Zab.

I'm really unsure what I'd want to see, theres always a mixture of excitment and sorrow when it comes to new signings and how to fit them into the team and seeing players who I've admired for years get cast aside. All I hope is Pels sees the value in Milner :D
