Formula 1 2022

Practice one on now. Media trying to hype up disquiet in Ferrari. I thought that's how they worked anyway?

Rumours circling that Riccardo is getting binned.
McLaren need to be ruthless. He isn't anywhere near good enough, and he's been shown up by more talented teammates through most of his career.

If he wasn't a photogenic "top lad" etc he'd have been fucked off to Formula E years ago.

Bottas would be an interesting shout but would he want to play second fiddle again to a golden boy British driver with big ambitions? Not sure.

I can't see past Max to finish pole for the sprint today.

Be nice to be proved wrong.

Two years on and I'm still struggling to follow this sprint shite. Seems like a naff gimmick to me.
I know where you're coming from. I'm not that excited about them myself. Maybe if they reversed the grid it might add something to it.

Sprint race over already.

Ferrari drivers seem intent on racing each other

Lewis has fucked it.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he called it a day at the end of the season. He's relatively comfortable (!) money wise, and I'd imagine it's a gruelling fitness regime that F1 drivers have to follow. Does he really need to put himself through that grind at this point in his life? Plus, he's used to winning, to being on top. Not winning won't come easily to him, I'd imagine.

Think it's probably time to admit that the sprint races don't really work. A great idea on paper and an experiment that was worth trying but doesn't add anything to the weekends

I agree.

There's no jeopardy as teams want to keep their cars intact as much as possible.

Another win for Max tommorow. Unless Russell find his inner Lewis whilst Ferrari crash themselves out of it.q

First time I have watched the sprint race. A real low key affair. Suppose it’s something different but the approach of it all seems to stay on track and don’t take risk.

Someone forgot to tell Leclerc that.Sainz was right to call him out about fighting Max and not each other.
