Frank De Boer (new boss?)

It all comes down to whether or not Roberto can work with Txiki and Ferran. When they have their meetings can they find enough common ground, and agree a way forward? Does Mancini demonstrate what they are looking for in a manager? His footballing philosophy? His man management? Does Mancini believe he will get the best players possible from our dealings in the transfer market?

Mancini would often criticise Marwood but I've not heard him have a go at the new boys yet; even after Balotelli was sold in January. It strikes me they have found common ground and are working together.

Or he knows they have more power than he does, whereas Marwood was a lame duck.

Mancini might be prone to emotional 'outburts' but he is not an idiot. Whatever he may think of his new bosses - (and they are both more senior to him - even though he doesn't acknowledge this). He is not going to say anything public at such a crucial time. Both sides will have views as to whether they can work together. In Mancini's case if he doesn't like the way things are panning out he will have already decided to go - but he will play the game to get a huge pay off - like I say he isn't stupid. Equally, if the Spanish have decided Mancini is not their man - why say anything now they will have a new man lined up and will move Mancini on in the summer when the time is right. Its in everyone's interests to keep their powder dry at the moment.

I do privately wonder whether Mancini may come into Chelsea's plans in the summer.

Interesting quotes here; no secret he fancies it; reads like approach already made

Mancini is looking too confident that he will be here next season.

I don't mind him staying as long as he adopt more attacking system.

'City is something I want to do, yes! But it is difficult for me to move my family abroad' says Ajax coach

.
Ajax boss Frank de Boer last night admitted that he wants to succeed Roberto Mancini at Manchester City – but not this summer.

De Boer is on his way to third Dutch league title in as many seasons and his plans could now mean Manchester City keep hold of Mancini this summer as they wait for the Dutchman to become available.

De Boer said: “Manchester City is something I want to do, yes! But it is difficult for me to move my family abroad at the moment. I have to consider others, not just myself.”

Ajax director Marc Overmars said: “Am I worried? Not for losing Frank now, but City will be a big competitor for his signature in the near future.”

And the Blues’ director Txiki Beguiristain is said to be a big fan of De Boer’s coaching style and Cruyff football vision which he has brought to Ajax, who dumped Manchester City out of the Champions League earlier this season.

If I don't see the actual Questions asked I take that interview with a massive pinch of salt!

Why the FUCK would we switch Mancini for an unproven manager like de Boer?

We wont. He is just one of about 20 managers we are getting to replace Mancini according to the press over the last few months.

It desn't matter what the question is, we now know that De Boer is interested in being City manager at some point & that Ajax also know it, which is all the headline is claiming. That is interesting.
