NYCFC starts in March and they need their players to stay fit. So they loan them out up until the moment they can start preparing the squad.
Lampard can stay fit at City, who themselves need a HG-player. When the need is high, they might even play him.
Imo it's nothing more than this. Media, Wenger, nor ourselves should look for more. There isn't.

Yeah, but to be fair, he's not saying we shouldn't be able to loan him. He's highlighting it because we part-own the club he came from. He's a right whinging fucker though.

If he's going on a free in jan I reckon he's qpr bound with uncle arry bein there an all that. But with it bein on a free I wouldn't be at all surprised if bacon face came in for him

Even Baconface will not sign him. His days at a top club are numbered, and all Lampard would be doing is looking for a Retirement Home.
