Fulham (H) | PL | Post-Match

Felt Cancelo’s challenge was a bit clumsy and he shud’ve not made the attempt. Can’t really argue with the ref despite feeling hard done by.

That aside I thought we were really good and persistent for 97 minutes. 60 min plus with 10 men after playing midweek and with a never give up attitude. I love the mentality within the squad.

The main story will probably be about a soft penalty. I don’t care. We deserved the run and there was contact. That is what counts nowadays. And in super slow motion every touch seems soft.

Great win. Great celebrations afterwards. We are one wonderful club representing a wonderful m squad and manager.

Was at work so was watching the scores on the FFL app then up pops a facebook post from the official Man City site saying "Johnny, Johnny Stones!"

and I was like yes! GTFI Stonesy lad! But he'd not scored. Fuck knows what all that was about?

Spot on throughout there pal.

Cancelo getting sent off was fucking laughable. I'm never really a "games gone soft" guy, but a shoulder barge is an unbelievably soft red.

Our penalty was definitely one of those "right to go down" things, and I really hate those as they're dives without being dives.

But we had a ridiculous red card so who gives a shit. Won ugly with ten men, it all works out. Moving on...

What a great performance.
It was as if the boys had been reading some of the pre match posts and thought fuck em.
KDB and Bernardo were both 10 /10.
The others not far behind.
10 men and Eddie was a spectator, shows how well the defence reacted.

It was an honour to be there today. The match didn't have absolutely everything because Fulham rarely threatened, but, as a spectacle and entertainment, and with that atmosphere - right up to the 95th minute - it was fantastic to be there.
I thought everyone of the 10 and the subs played superbly. The attitude was top-drawer, and when The Man came up for the penalty, I was nervous about watching it, but realised; it's Haaland - he won't miss it! And he didn't!!
It was joyous. The first goal was Agueroesque, and the game ended with tension similar to the Aguero moment.
What a time to be a blue!! And what a reception the lads got on that spontaneous lap of honour. Haaland and Pep's post match celebrations were also a joy to behold.
Happy days!
Honour is the word. I'd have been happy to draw after that performance with 10 men. Rarely felt such joy at a winner.
