That did cross my mind but given how, in my opinion, we struggled to build up attacks against Newcastle I opted for Gundogen

As for Sane over Bernado, I think Fulham will have a go so his pace in the break could be a great weapon. Also, he needs games and a home game to Fulham seems a pretty good place to start

I thought V Newcastle, we looked much better when Bernardo came on

......................Ederson
..Walker...Otamendi...Laporte..Mendy
.................Fernandinho
..........Gundogan....D.Silva
....Mahrez.......Aguero.......Sterling

Otamendi finally gets a start, he’s been training with Laporte these two weeks so it’s time. Another game to bed Mahrez in.

Delph and Sane a few days later vs Lyon please. With Bernardo in midfield. Now is the time to make use of this wonderful squad.

Fulham like to play football which will suit City. Mitrovic is a threat in the air, so like others have suggested possibly a first game for Oto. Any update on Raheem's back injury?

Stones and Laporte, keep the partnership going. Stones needed to keep the build up coming from the back. I can understand potentially Kompany or Stones to battle Mitrovic but I think Stones needs to play.

He couldn’t have looked much worse than Marhrez, to be fair. I thought Gundogen gave us much needed control in midfield

It’s a coin toss but for a home game V a team we should beat pretty comfortably, Sane and Gundogen could get some much needed confidence

HELLO Manchester!
My son and I are coming over from America to see the game! staying near the train station....can/should we walk to the game? goto the stadium tour Friday? places to eat/drink...........general info.....thx

Walk in to Piccadilly gardens and you may see some locals playing a game of musical statues. A really popular past time.

Hoping for a nice routine 3-0. Aguero Hatrick.

Bernie has been one of the players of the season so far.

His close control is almost on a par with his namesake's and he is going to be a star for Manchester City for many years to come, IMHO.

Do not go to the museum of football it is very poor.
Central library, exchange theatre, Printworks,Northern quarter, Chinese quarter (for a buffet).
The canal walk to the ground is a bit like the river walk in San Antonio.
Mary d,s pub near the ground is a traditional boozer.

As much as ten minutes left?
You supreme optimist.
More like five for me!

Annoys me how people think its game over, when say, like we are 2-0 up, still 20 min to go, and all i'm thinking is if they get one lucky goal from a corner or a free kick its gonna be 2-2 this in the end. The 3rd goal is always a huge relief for me in general, then i just clock watch or hope for a 4th, then i really can then start to relax and enjoy the game haha!

Yep Mary d's is a shot home.
Fish and chips is a must. Chippy right opposite the ground.
If you want to try a curry get a taxi on Friday to the curry mile just around the corner from Maine Rd. Most of our fans will have been there area is a bit rough but some great curries. Bit of a right of passage.
Enjoy the game.
Ps don't forget your coat.

Harsh on the football museum!

Harsh on the football museum!

The main issue for me is that they have attemted to fill a building to big for the exhibits. This means it is half full of tosh and tack. Not an ideal venue either.
I would like to see a purpose built venue at the home of modern football -)

Quite a few regulars will disagree, but as a visitor I'd get there in time to sit around City Square for a bit ( weather permitting). A bit of music, interviews soak up a bit of the area filling up with city fans. Food isn't cheap ( probably isn't around stadiums in the States either) but you can get a bite to eat and a drink.
Edit see some advising the pubs, depends how old your son is of course.
